in these pages lie portraits of my first encounter with the French Country.

Chambre d'Hotes (Bed& Breakfasts). While some were old, others were cold. Some had us ranting, others had us wailing. Requires 200 seconds to load at 14.4kbps

Gastronomique ludicrous as it may sound, we actually succeeded in allowing our quest for food to grow into an obsession--we spent just about all our time eating, plodding around to walk-it-off, shopping for food, cooking (or restaurant hunting), and then eating again! Requires 127 seconds to load at 14.4kbps

See the Sites I guess we couldn't sustain the voracious appetites if not for some sightseeing--after all, when else would we have found the time for the infusion of culture?!! Requires 196 seconds to load at 14.4kbps

Cathedrals here I've featured the Saint Andrew's Catheral in Boardeaux and Saint Theresa's Chapel in Liseux for contrast--old, and new. Requires 103 seconds to load at 14.4kbps

Le Mont Saint Michel the mecca of France. Rated a "must see" in the Michelin Guide which gives it three-stars, this over-visited monument still contained charm and presence that I savoured. Requires 131 seconds to load at 14.4kbps

Moments every successful trip has its moments of madness and joy... Requires 123 seconds to load at 14.4kbps
