Before you brush off this scene as a typical postcard dawn shot, I shall have you know that moments after this photo was taken I had a catastrophic tummy ache that produced some desperate moments (we are walking on a deserted reef in the middle of the sea! Ah nothing like some gross thoughts to taint a serene scene!

My very first sailing course as instructor in-training. The funny thing here is that the gal pictured at left capsized her boat, and exhausted herself trying to board after righting her boat. When she finally got back on, she was so winded she didn't realise her top had wandered off...

Okay, maybe the sun was getting to me, but I was playing with this fish I caught earlier. Thought this was hilarious and had to take the photo!

Michael W. Smith in concert. In order to photograph him on the darkened stage, I used a 200mm zoon lense and a Sunpak flash that might have bleached his retinas even from about 15 paces away...

I call this one "Compassion". Allison Todd on a short-term mission trip to Juarez, Mexico. Once in a while, I get to capture a moment that is truly magical...
